Audrey Tran has made significant contributions to her chapter through various leadership roles and initiatives. As the Convention Coordinator in Spring 2022, she led the chapter's first in-person national convention post-COVID, achieving 1st place in top recruitment. She also made presentations, trained, and prepped participants, ensuring the convention was fully funded for all attendees. In Fall 2022, as the Professional Development Chair and Vice President of Professional Development, Audrey assisted in creating a corporate sponsorship program that contributed approximately $3,500, the most substantial income outside of member dues. Her successful pitch to IDEMIA, her former internship company, resulted in them sponsoring the chapter and hosting a workshop.
In Spring 2023, as the Recruitment Director, Audrey conducted over nine recruitment presentations, which led to 58% of Potential New Members (PNMs) hearing about PSE through these efforts. She enforced DEIB strategies to create an inclusive environment, using pronouns on nametags and reaching out to LLCs and cultural organizations. Audrey's interpersonal approach and quick responsiveness to PNMs' communications resulted in a significant increase in chapter composition, including a 178% increase in freshmen and a 45% increase in sophomores, leading to an overall chapter growth of 30%. Her other roles included being the Prospective Member Coordinator, where she managed professional mentoring, event management, and relationship building, and contributing to various initiatives like creating the Pro Parent Newsletter and the Pro Parent Committee. Audrey's dedication and leadership have left a lasting impact on the chapter, setting a high standard for future members.
